If you're looking to fight for repairs or replacements, this is the computer for you. I ordered one of these babies from a mail order house. When the computer was delivered, I was very excited to see that I received a "Spanish" keyboard. "Hola?!?!?, I don't speak or type Spanish". I called the mail order house and was told to deal with Compaq directly, I then called Compaq. Here's where the fun begins.
It took 2 weeks to receive an "English" keyboard(s). Yes, keyboard(s). I called to check on my request twice and wound up getting 3 keyboards. After what I thought was setting up and running the computer the first time, I got error messages galore.
I picked up the phone and called a techie at Compaq. We tweaked and reset and reset and tweaked for a couple of days to no avail. After a week and 7-8 techies later, I asked if I could return said computer for a new one, figuring this one was a lemon. I was told that once you receive your Compaq computer, it is yours for the life of the product. "Hello?!?!, this product never did have a life"!
I still have this particular computer at the office, but no one uses it. It is sitting on a desk in the corner all alone, with no life.
