I bought this CDRW four months ago now and have not had a problem with since I got it. It is great to have for backing up data and for creating custom audio cd's. I have been able to free up a lot of space on my hard drive by moving all of the files that I have been storing on my computer from the hard drive to a CD. The drive is very easy to install and the software is very user friendly. It is a product that I would recommend not just to the advanced user but also to the average user. This drive takes about 15 minutes to create an entire cd. There are faster drives on the market now that will make a CD in as little as five minutes (12x write).
