| Mbdusmc's Full Review: Polywell Polystation 800K-7G1 |
The Polywell Polystation 800K-7G1 is sizzlin with speed, but is expensive for its specs. First of all, you may be thinking "Who is Polywell?" I know I was when I first heard of this company. The only thing I worry about with new name systems are the technical support. With Dell, you pay a lot for your system with great support. With other lower class companies, you pay little, but get no technical support. You should only buy a "unknown" name brand if you are good with computers, so you don't run into problems down the road. About the system, it was highly compareable to all the other Giga-computers. Since there are such a high amount of Mhz's out now, it is hard to tell the difference between 800-1100 MHZ. The only thing that puzzled me with the Polystation was that it only had 64 MB of RAM, while other Gigahert computers usually have 128. I guess the rest of the price for the Polystation 800K-7G1 makes up for the speed. Overall, a great computer for a big price.
