This has to be the single most informative, and customizable application on any PDA. To begin with, it is extremely easy to set up, configure, and get rolling. Once a member of the Avantgo.com site, you have literally hundreds (thousands?) of choices of "channels" that you can add to your PDA. Let me tell you, I've sat for long periods of time waiting for meetings to begin, friends to arrive, etc., and I have remained entertained, informed and up-to-date because of this application. I wish I could say bad things about it, but the truth is I can't. How many other free applications for PDA's offer this much great stuff?

How customizable? Well, from within ONE program, I track my stocks, check on the weather, get [tech] industry news, USA Today, the NY Times Front Page, Hollywood.com, and even a Joke-A-Day.

I have only been using AvantGo for a few weeks now, and have not fully explored the multitude of channels they offer - there are just so many! Anyhow, I would like to stress the point that this single application is THE best thing that has happened to my PDA. I don't know of a single portable user who does not have it installed... you'd be crazy not to.
