I joined this site due to the high ranking given by epinions members.
Signing up was easy, only took about 3 minutes. Figuring out what I was supposed to do was a totally different story.
The webpage is so cluttered that it is difficult to navigate where you need to go. Once I found the link that I needed, the lag was Horrid, it literally took minutes to get to a simple page.
The idea behind Hollywood Stock Exchange is novice, they give you 2 million dollars (pretend) and you can buy stocks in upcoming or scripted movies. If you choose a hit, and the stock soars, you get lots more money.
I bought about 50,000 shares of different stocks, watched them change a little here and there, but where is the excitement?
If you have nothing but free time on your hands, this site would be great, but, I was thinking..."why am I sitting here buying and trading these stocks without seeing any real fun??"
Overall, I must say the site would be fun if you watched your "fake" money grow or shrink from day to day. But with all the internet congestion and the lag on this site, I don't plan on going back.
Oh, By the way, I wound up ahead in the end...guess I have a good eye for movies. *wink*
