Owner of 9 previous laptops

I've owned at least 9 lap top computers in my 6 year career. They've ranged from the Tecra to Compaq to Dell. Because I travel a lot I've put them through hell. Because I'm clumsy, I've also dropped them numerous times. Therefore, "durability" is key to informing my purchase decision. The IBM has ALWAYS withstood the test of time and the airport tarmac more than any other. They are my preferred dealer.

That said, I'm quite disappointed with the lack of battery power in my Iseries thinkpad. It stinks. Moreover, the place where one must rest their wrists (because of the design) often times get very hot and makes long-term use somewhat uncomfortable. I advise those who are in the market for this book, and can withstand the heat, to purchase this computer along with a better battery.

If you're clumsy like me, you'll be glad you did.
