WorldSpy is a free Internet Service Provider. I have been using it for over a month and I like it better than NetZero or Alta Vista. I can usually connect at 52K or higher and there is no adbar to eat up memory. With the absence of an adbar I find that downloads and browser speed are very fast. Without an adbar WorldSpy must rely on advertising on the opening page but you can close this and open your default page once you are signed on. The opening page does have a decent search engine powered by AOL I believe. I can usually stay connected for hours even if there is no activity. Also if you are a member of Spedia you can get bonus points for signing up, that's how I found out about it.
WorldSpy does have some problems. There is only one access number for my entire region. This isn't too bad right now but as they grow I would hope they start adding more. Also, sometimes I am unable to log on due to an authentication error. I'm not sure what that error is but it happens about 10% of the time. I have experienced being logged off similar to what happened to me when I used AOL, but this has only occurred a couple of times. The difference is, there is no pop-up to let you know. As far as customer service, I really don't know if it is any good because I haven't tried to contact them.
Right now I am using WorldSpy as my primary ISP, with Alta Vista and NetZero as my backups. This works pretty well and it is free. If you are not using WorldSpy you should give it a try, it won't cost anything but time and you can get rid of it if you are unhappy with the service.
