Great notebook

I'm a big fan of my inspiron 3700. the keyboard is very exceptional for a laptop, it has just the right tactile resistance.
i've had a few problems with my dell, mainly because of windows 98 and not the laptop itself.
my LCD screen has one bad pixel, which i complained about to dell, but i think they were pretty reasonable in justifying why they wouldn't replace my laptop because of one bad pixel. btw, the support is pretty prompt and comprehensive, especially if you make use of the support.dell.com website.
overall it's a fine machine, i would recommend it for anyone looking for both performance and value in a laptop.
of course, if money was no object, i would buy a fully loaded toshiba tecra or portege, or an ibm thinkpad.
