| lertets's Full Review: Asus AGP-6600 |
I love the Asus AGP-V6600 although its ram is only SDR it still beats the Geforce 2MX in some applications. I chose this product because its so good, it has a thermal sensor near the GPU (graphic processing unit), which is like its own little mini processor, it is the best card in the Geforce 256 SDR fleet, and because of its software bundle. It comes with Drakan: The order of the flame, rollcage, drivers (duh), and ASUSDVD. It does all of its DVD decoding software which is a bad thing but it still does a preety good job playing DVD's so who really cares where it decodes the code. Make sure you have a 200-250 watt power supply since this baby takes up alot of power. Super Socket 7 users there are compatibility issues with this product so be carefull, and I have a super socket 7, and i've noticed how hard it is to make everything compatible, when you first get it you'll notice tons of lock-ups just tweak your system, you'll find out the perfect setting sooner or later.
