The Gateway Solo 1100 has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Every program that I have run on it is very stable, even though it only has 32 Megs of ram. I have seen a lot of complaints about the video and the LCD screen being "cheap" and "low quality". The screen I'm looking at right now is crystal clear, and I have no complaints. And if you don’t like the screen than you can use the video port to hook up a separate monitor. The cd-rom, on the other hand, is flimsy and and takes a little work to close. Other than that it hasn’t failed me. The battery fully charged last's around 2-3 hours depending on the usage.
