The kodak DVC 325 is one really good webcam. I just purchased it last week the install process was a piece of pie, I just hooked it up and installed the software it was working in no time!! It has a 30 frame per second fram rate which gives you a smooth video experience and a good resolution of 640x480. It connects to your computer with a USB port which speeds up the transfer rate of the image, way faster than the old serial type webcam. You can adjust a lot of the image quality settings. For example white balance, contrast, and sharpness, the 325 version does very well on autopilot, which means it practically adjust itself to the perfect settings. Even in dim light, it adjusts itself to a setting that produce balanced images. And if you spend some time on researching the price you might be able to get it for really cheap. The price range that I know for this unit is $79~$130.
