I needed a computer for work (I'm a computer programmer) that would let me work fast enough that I didn't feel like I was wasting time. Let's face it...I'm not a very patient person when it comes to waiting on a computer that's supposed make life easier and faster.

So...I went to all the top online computer sales websites...Dell, Gateway, and Micron. When it came down to it, Micron had the best deal once I upgraded the system specs to include extra RAM and a 21 inch monitor.

Since purchasing this system I've purchased a second one for home and many more for the office where I work. I'll purchase more as time goes on...as long as they keep the good deal for the BIG monitors. (They are 21 inch Sony Trinitron monitors with 20" of viewable display!)

Being the techie type of guy that I am I often upgrade my system or change out parts to suit my needs for particular projects. The Micron cases make this a snap! No tools required...just pull some levers, twist a few thumb screws and you have access to everything you need to make any adjustments or upgrades.

My most recent upgrade involved adding a second video card. Now I'm using dual monitors which is great because I now have twice the desktop space. I keep programs that I use actively displayed on the monitor in front of me and put the tools and monitors on the other monitor. For example...when using a paint or drawing program (like Adobe Photoshop) I put the document right in front of me and all the tools, brushes, palettes, layers, etc. on the other monitor.
