Pros: Initially worked very well (I must have received a lemon).
Cons: It does not come with SDRam. Gave me repeated troubles after 1 year.
The Bottom Line: After all the hassle, I'm not sure I'd try a Dell again. Mostly because the tech support wasn't very helpful and required very long waits on hold.

| Ambrat's Full Review: Dell Dimension XPS T600 |
In January 2000, I purchased a new Dell Dimensions XPS T 550 computer system and loved it for about a year. Then it began having problems and Dell's customer service people were repeatedly telling me to reinstall Windows, which I must have done 12 times to no avail. The problems persisted and Dell would not allow me to send it in to be looked at or suggest anywhere local to take it to. Friends believed it was a hardware issue which I thought was supposed to be covered under warranty.
Being my first computer, I wasn't too astute on its inner workings, but it was apparent these problems weren't of my own doing. As irritated as I became with Dell's customer service and its long wait on hold, the quality of help declined further once their call centers were moved abroad where "techs" read the same scripted responses every time I called. Very frustrating, especially when you call back after a reinstall or other remedy doesn't work and they instruct you to do the same thing again! Apparently they weren't keeping logs of our calls.
Anyway, this computer conked out in early 2004 and wasn't worth reviving in my opinion. Purchased a local DIT computer instead and it's worked great ever since.
