Finally, there is a purpose to spending hours on end on the internet. Firetalk technology is very reliable and completely innovates the chat room concept as we've known it. Now, people are more real then ever, because Firetalk utilized voice and text chat, allowing you to hear who you are talking to. This creates a unique interaction not found anywhere else. People are more civil and appear to be searching for answers on real issues, having meaningful and often deep and/or controversial conversations.
In addition, the ability for users to create a room and moderate with a "gavel" is key to making this service friendly and meaningful. The room moderator can "kick" or "ban" users from the room, give or take away microphones, and essentially has full control.
Firetalk is an excellent location to hold scheduled events such as lectures, training sessions, religious study, and just a great place to meet new people.
