I wanted to try out using this virtual calling card by Net2Phone and so far, it has been better than other internet telephony products. It has really helped me to cut the distance between me and my family back home in the Philippines.
COST
The cost of 100 minutes of Net2Phone Direct calling card is $25. This was the one that I used. You can also add up more up to $100 if you want to extend your minutes. I pay about 21 cents per minute for my call to the Philippines, which was not expensive at all.
PAYMENT TERMS
You can pay through credit card or check. You can call their customer reps who will key in your payments. What I didn't like when I first started using this was that it took Net2Phone almost four days to put my account history and call history on their website. One thing great about it is that after you tell the customer rep to deduct from your card your payment, you can immediately make a call.
CLARITY
What I liked about Net2Phone is that it doesn't echo like Dialpad and it is pretty clear, almost like a regular long distance call. However, there are times when the line isn't clear or it gets cut off.
SERVICE
The service they gave was good but I wish that their customer reps would be more courteous when they answer the phone. I also noticed that there are a lot who access their website which sometimes makes it difficult to access your account.
Overall, I think this is a really good product and cheaper too.
