The Viewsonic PS790 is a space-saving 19" monitor, meaning that it only
takes up the same amount of space as a 17" monitor. The picture quality is very good, even when compared to more expensive brands like Sony.

I highly recommend this monitor for those that don't have the budget for a Sony or don't have a lot of space on their desktop.

However, I believe there is one issue that is not brought up in ANY of the reviews that I have read: moire problems. Yes, this monitor DOES have some moire problems, as do all space saving monitors. According to Viewsonic's excellent technical support, they said that this affects ALL space saving monitors, so do not be worried when you get strange artifacts on your screen.

There is an easy and quick fix: adjust the moire between 32-37. This will eliminate 95% of the moire. Honestly, when I first got this monitor, I thought it was horribly made because of the moire, but once I got that fixed, it has been a dream come true!
