ATI has accomplished high frame rate combined with 32 megabytes of SDRAM for one of the best hardware 3D accelerator cards out to date. It has TV out, supports hardware DVD, and has an excellent frame rate. Who could ask for more? I have had some concerns over the driver issue though.
When I bought my Rage Fury it was, without a doubt, the best graphics card I had ever used. Never before had my 3D accelerated games been so realistic and sharp. But then came the new drivers available for download. I downloaded the latest drivers and saw (to my suprise) an incredible improvement. Then about 2 months ago they came out with another new set of drivers, so naturally I downloaded them. After downloading the newest drivers, my computer would freeze up as soon as I would launch a 3D accelerated game. This happened on every game I tried and, of course, I tried reinstalling the new drivers but to no avail.
Then came the harsh reality. I had overwritten my old drivers without saving them and now I was stuck because ATI did not have the previous drivers online. So, I had to reinstall the original drivers that came with the card. These drivers weren't bad but they were no where near as good as the ones I had lost.
Overall, the Rage Fury is a great piece of hardware, but the driver issue has some room for improvement. I would recommend this card to anyone wanting incredibly realistic 3D, but always save your old drivers.
