| WorldTraveller's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7500 R500YT |
My first home computer was a Dell 300 and I upgraded this year to the Inspiron 7500 'portable desktop'.
This is a marvellous machine. It's got everything you need and it's a pleasure to use. I have run the heavy graphics programs like Painter and Photoshop that I ran on the full sized monitor; the flat LCD monitor is greatly superior to the glass box. You can carry the machine in a suitcase though since it is a 'portable desktop' and not a laptop, I wouldn't recommend doing this too often. The excellent carrying case does make this a relatively simple matter.
Dell offers unmatched customer service, with most repairs handled within a day or so. The machine's price included a three year service policy. This is an excellent reason to go with Dell; they stand behind their products and the product is of great quality.
