The middle-aged people with whom I work are particularly fond of 17-inch monitors, and most agree that this is a very good one. I like it because it is especially clear, and of course the 17-inch size makes it ideal for any type of work. Web sites are easier to view because I have increased desktop space, and documents are easier to edit because scrolling is less frequent. The only drawback to the Compaq V75 is the controls: the contrast and brightness knobs are below the screen, at an awkward angle for some peoples' wrists, and the buttons are small. Overall, though, this is an excellent monitor in an excellent size.
