I burn CDs rather regularly and I need reliability and quality for a good price. I got this because of the economic price and the brandname (you know Sony's good at everything electronic) and was not dissapointed. It works just fine, I have no problems. Also, the speeds are just fine if you don't need to mass-produce CDs or anything like that. The price isn't immense like other drives, another plus. So really, if you aren't a rich person (I'm a teenager and I could afford this one) and need a quality burner, grab this one quick. If not, go get an HP or Creative one, ya lucky jerk...
