I purchased this printer on Nov. 18th. It worked great for 5 weeks. I originally went to buy a HP932c. Xerox sales rep. at Best Buy talked me into this one. I bought it for printing digital photos. It always had a grainy print in photo settings. It shook the whole desk with the vibration it has. And don't try to do anything else with the computer while its printing. Your computer will freeze up in a heartbeat. It always stops to catch up on buffer memory. The print head clogged up on me after about 50 print pages. And no body sells the print heads. I called Xerox, they would have sent me one to replace it. I pleaded with BB to take this printer back so I can get the HP932c that I was supposed to buy. After a little convincing they replaced it with the HP for me. Also, BEWARE ! Xerox is discontinuing their "consumer" printers. They will not sell this one no more. And nobody will carry any ink for it. BB already discontinued the ink and the printer ! Spend a little more and get a better printer. It is nice to have seperate ink tanks, but what good is it if you have to pay extra to replace the ink heads every so often. With tri-color ink, you get a fresh head evertime you replace the ink cartrige. Xerox said the ink head is supposed to last 1000 pages. That is not much at all ! And then the color head costs $40. Stay away from this one!
