I purchased this video cam because of the Kodak name attached to it. It is a very mediocre product which, while it has given me few problems, nevertheless is a poor performer in low light and does not produce a sharp picture. I had expected that Kodak would upgrade the drivers or the software that runs it, but they have not. Instead, they have produced a new DVC camera. I for one will not buy this new version, as I expect that they will do the same thing again, and not provide updates to the software, but rather produce an entirely new product again.
