Pros: inexpensive way to produce digital images in several formats.
Cons: If you have one printer port switching form Snappy to printer is necessary unless you have a switch box and cables to use.

While my digital camera was being repaired I needed a way to get images onto my website. I have a camcorder so I bought Snappy for $99.99 without shopping around and was very surprised with the quality of the images. It is very easy to use and the installation was painless.
The only problem I had with the hardware was the battery(included) was dying too often so I purchased a transformer that fit the battery (9v) connection and solved that problem. The best quality images were in a studio setting with artificial lighting with the camcorder on a tripod and the settings for a highest resolution image. I also sent the image through Snappy to a second monitor(any TV)to make focusing easier.
The software included allows some adjustments to the final image but a graphics program such as paint shop pro or corel can be used once the image is saved in many formats.
Another use for Snappy came when a family member was used as an extra in a full length movie. She was only on the screen for a second but Snappy allowed me to produce a recognizable image for everyone to enjoy.
