Tweet When I first heard about Epinions.com, I said to mySelf, Self (I always address mySelf with capital letters, by the way), Self, I said, here's another dim-bulb idea that'll burn out in a week. They'll get a bunch of idiots on there spouting worthless nonsense and promoting themselves (note the lowercase 's' back there, signifying my distain for others), and quickly wind up down the flusher. Boy was I wrong! In a very short time I've come to really USE Epinions.com. I've found dozens of cases where opinions citing product shortcomings dissuaded me from buying. I've run dozens of more cases where I tripped over products I didn't even know existed. And I've found dozens of reviewers who I really DO trust, and who really DO have much worthwhile to say. Being something of an insomniac, I also spend a great deal of time just browsing opinions and skipping around reviews to keep up on things, often reading every review by a given writer. Overall, just two words will sum up my thoughts on Epinion.com: NICE JOB.
