I signed up for All Advantage in August of 99. Sounded like a great idea, and still does. I downloaded the viewbar & immediately started emailing friends and family in hopes of getting referrals. I had 8 friends sign up for this service under my name, and I rarely get a cent from any of them. I wasn't sure why this was at first, but now I have an idea.
The viewbar only seems to work half the time. I would go surfing the internet, and it would either disappear or turn red on me. No matter what I would do, the viewbar would not seem to function. I tried re-installing the viewbar. I tried downloading the newest version & nothing. My computer is only 1 year old, so I don't think that was the problem.
Anyway, I let a few months go by, and recently decided to give AllAdvantage another try. There still seems to be some quirks with the program, but I've finally logged enough time to get a check!
As I'm writing this epinion, my viewbar is red. I don't really understand why. I'm on the internet. Maybe there's a problem with AllAdvantage and Epinions. Who knows? I'd email customer service for AllAdvantage, but I know they won't write back. I've tried to contact them on more than one occasion, but they don't write back. When they have written me back, it's been a form letter.
There have been many new version of AA since I signed up. Obviously someone is working to make it better, so if you haven't tried it recently, you may want to try again. There are many people that are getting real checks out there. Some are getting a lot of money too!
