Well this is the first laptop I have ever purchased.... I have to say after the first week I would have to say Dell ROCKS.... I had a few problems out of Dell in the first week. My first laptop arrived and 6 hours after I opened the box it died. I changed the BIOS option from "suspend to ram" to "suspend to disk". Well after I did that the unit would not boot. I called for support and to my suprise Dell was not going to fix it. They said because I changed the BIOS option that voided the wty I said BULL#$%^. I wouldn't say I know it all about computer but hey I sure know that changing the options wouldnt void the wty.

I didn't really know what to do. I was going to return the laptop since it was only 6 hours out of the box. But guess what they wouldn't let me. I was now stuck with the worlds most expensive paper weight. :P

Well after a week of calling and bitching they finally sent me a new unit. Dell is a good product but their support tech are totally CLUELESS. Even after this I would say Dell make a GREAT LAPTOP.

I originally ordered a 366 celeron... the replacement unit was 400 P2.

That just made my day! :)

Thanks DELL.... oh and if you ever call and get this problem SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR if they will let you! :P
