After bad experiences with two other burners, I just wanted something nice and easy. R ight out of the box the SAF drive seemed great... I plugged it straight into my pre-existing SCSI card and booted up. Immediatly the drive was recognized and welcomed like an old friend. That was hot.. now comes the sour. Burning was painless at all speeds, but its a damn shame none of the burned media function correctly after completion. Every audio cd I have burned stuters and skips no matter what speed they are burned at. SAF has no answers and neither do I. I'd rather tear my hair out on an install job than have a useless $250 dollar drive smiling at me real friendly like and not doing diddly except eating cds.
