Apple has recently begun a campaign to modernize their whole line of products, and give them that extra push to beat the PC equivalents. MacOS 9 is the lastest addition to this new and futuristic product line. The features include multi-user support, an encryption program, sherlock2, and many other brand new features.

One of the best new features is the new and re-developed apple website, that integrates into MacOS 9. The website offers e-mail, webspace, ecards, and a website filter (so children can't view inappropriate material). This is probably one of the best features of the new OS.

One of the worst features of OS9 is the keychain. When the keychain is turned on, it automatically unlocks any file securities that are turned on, in addition, the keychain also automatically fills in login and passwords that are asked for. This can be extremely annoying, if you have multiple screen names for different services, such as email and networks.

Overall this latest addition is a must buy!
