In my previous review of Pointclick.com, I stated that I had yet to make up my mind about their program.
I have made my decision - I highly recommend PointClick for these reasons:
• Customer Service
I have emailed several times with questions, and received a timely response each time.
• Integrity
My stats are counted correctly, and always up-to-date.
• Quality
Interesting, fast loading site, with many offers.
• Commitment
I just received a notice that the first set of checks will be going out soon.
• Generosity
They match your earnings dollar for dollar.
• Fairness
This was the deciding factor for me.
Here is what happened:
I checked my account, and found that it was less than it was the day before. As I was about to email them about this shortage, I received an email stating the following:
"PointClick has determined that a number of clicks that you have made
did not meet the minimum requirements to receive credit. As such, we were unable to bill our merchants for these particular clicks, and as a result we are unable to credit your account."
At first this bothered me, but I just decided to change the way I was clicking on the links. Up till this point I right clicked on one, and left clicked on one, so that I could view 2 at once. I figured that the right clicks must not count, or clicking this way may be considered cheating. If anyone knows for sure about this, I would appreciate some advice on this. It doesn't state how clicks are tracked in the terms on the site.
The next day I received another email from them stating:
"The necessary adjustments have caused concern among some of our PointClickers. Beginning next pay period, unqualified clicks will be identified real time, so there will not be a need to make adjustments at the end of the month, as was the case for the month of January. PointClick has made a decision, as a token of good faith, to credit back the unqualified/unbillable clicks. PointClick (the company), not our merchant partners, will be making up the difference (approximately $500,000). This is not PointClick's policy to pay for unqualified/unbillable clicks. However, PointClick has elected to make a rare exception to the rules (at its own expense) to resolve immediately the concern at hand. We hope that our decision will strengthen your opinion of PointClick as a company that first and foremost looks after the people that make it all happen."
It did strengthen my opinion of Pointclick. This is very gracious of them in my opinion, and I appreciate it very much. I give them an A+ for effort! Great Company!
