Pros:Quality, great design, Gateway GoBack
Cons:Trouble with connecting existing devices

I bought this unit because of recommendations of friends who had purchased Gateway in the past. I have tried smaller versions of Gateway and never had a problem. The unit I got is a 866 Pentium III, with 128 megs, and a 20gig hard drive. This baby flies. I recommend it to anyone thinking about getting a new one. Be aware the usb plugs might cause you trouble when keeping existing external devices. I thought about trying to locate a 25pin plug converter to usb, I could`nt find one easily, so I sold my existing scanner, zip drive and printer. I bought all new extras with usb plugs, truly plug and play. It might cost a little extra, but well worth it. Gateway gave me a usb printer which surprised me. With usb plugs you can actually plug in up to 127 different external devices by using hubs. I don`t think that I will need that much, but who knows? Another great feature is the Gateway GoBack feature. If you crash your system, you can turn back the clock to just before you crashed. This allows you to not crash again (hopefully).
