I can't believe they still make computers this slow. In the world of desktops today, most computers under 600Mhz would probably go for about $800 or so. Given this fact, the Acer Aspire 6120 is outrageously overpriced for its measly 300Mhz of speed.
Other components of the computer seem also out of date. It doesn't come with much RAM or hard drive space, and the model I bought didn't even have a monitor. The one good aspect that the Acer Aspire had was that it came with a CD-RW drive. Unfortunately the computer is almost too slow to handle the process of burning a CD.
One other thing--although the tech support was a 1-800 number, the people there knew almost nothing about computers. It was a total waste of my time to even call them.
Overall, I give the Acer Aspire a 2 on a scale of 10. If you have the means and know-how, it is far better to order the parts separately (and on-line if possible, as the prices are cheaper) and build it yourself. Or have a friend help you. It will save you a lot of money and headache. That's my 2 cents worth.
