I bought one of these laptops back in August of 1999. This is the second laptop that I have owned and I think that Dell laptops and computers are the best on the market. It is very easy to order one of these, all you do is call up Dell and a helpful person will try to help you decide what computer and what components you need.
The number one reason for buying a Dell computer is that their customer service and warranties are the best around. If you have any problem with one of their computers, you call them up and you be able to get through very easily. If their is any major problems, Dell will correct them and replace any part without any questions as long as you return the broken part.
This particular laptop is great because it is very powerful and you can get just about any option with it. The screen is huge 15.1" viewable (17"). You can get a large hard drive, an internal modem and a great graphics card. The only drawback with this laptop is that it is kind of heavy, but this is to be expected when the laptop is so powerful. Generally, the heavier a laptop is the more components are in the laptop and the better it is. This is a good indication for everything expect the processor. Overall, I think that Dell has the best product on the market today and if for any reason something goes wrong with it, Dell will be happy to replace it.
