I did a lot of research before buying a scanner. My first goal was to find a scanner with multi-uses. I was looking for a scanner that did negatives, worked well with programs such as Photo Deluxe, and would scan legal size transmissions. I found all of my needs were met with Plustek, except the legal size scanning. I researched other scanners that did legal size scanning, but they did none of the other things I required.
This scanner was fairly inexpensive, around $150.00, and finally I felt it would suit my needs. I purchased the scanner, brought it home, and set it up with little hardships. It works really well with the Photo Deluxe, and it scans negatives very well.
I recently, accidentally deleted the files for Plustek and after finding my software had it reinstalled in no time at all.
It is very durable and saves quite a bit of space. Thank you for this, because there is no more space in my office. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a scanner look into this one. You can't beat it for the price.
