| shinyfreak's Full Review: Dell Inspiron 7000 C366LT |
This product was my first laptop. It was pricey but it was worth it. It is a powerhouse. The 366 mhz combined with the 4x dvd and the s-video output, makes up for a missing dvd player. The dvd is crystal clear. Especially on the 15" available screen. The dvd drive is right on top of the floppy drive. This is a very nice feature... but it does make the unit a little bulky. It comes preloaded with decent software. It comes with a ATI 8mb Rage Pro 3d card which is good and it does speed up the games that go along with that card. I wish it had a 3dfx card though. On the back of the computer there are many ports that are all helpful: USB, mouse-keyboard, serial, parallel, docking station, infrared, s-video, and monitor. It is missing a midi port. If you go on e-bay you can by one for 5 bucks for the PCMCIA slots (which there are 2). It is a bit heavy but i still love it for college. I use it in all my classes. So overall, the Dell 366 was a bit pricey but well worth it for me.
