In the the drawer next to my bed sits a perfectly good Rex organizer. For three months, I used faithful Rex for my day to day needs. And it's a great little gizmo, but it's got one fatal flaw - the need to fit into a PC card slot to work.

This is not a fatal flaw caused by Franklin, but caused when my company upgraded our laptops to use the new Xircom "Real-Jack" network/modem cards. This blocks the PC card slot that I used to use for Rex.

I see the Rex as a good device, and the Rex 5 even better, since you actually can change the entries in the memory in the 5 (unlike in the 3)

I'm still thinking of what I can do with the Rex. I'm considering all possibilites, including recipies and more. But all that fits in my Palm Pilot too.
