I just bought a Dell L500c. So far I'm very pleased. I purchased a Dell due to other "Epinions" and from talking with my friends. The biggest factor in choosing the Dell was the excellent reputation of their customer service. The initial setup with the connections was color coded and simplistic. The only glitch was getting signed on for the Dellnet Internet/email service. The instructions for the password were a little confusing, but Dell came through with it's famous customer service and I had the problem solved in minutes. I purchased a mid range Dell computer, because it is for my young children. I purchased a few upgrades (hard drive; DVD; and speakers) to entertain myself with the DVD system. Selecting the options for the Dell was the easiest part, as long as you know what you want and have access to the Internet. Dell's website makes ordering the computer fast and easy with unlimited configurations depending on the price and options you need. Dell lets you build your own computer and gives you the price immediately, so you can adjust the order according to your budget (if you have one). I received my new Dell from UPS in about a week.
