What I like about a computer manufacturer is when he gives you all the technical specifiactions, even down to what the bios is. I especially like this new duron processor faster and better than the celeron, and almost competes with the Pentium III, but the Pentium IIII are out, but no much is known about them. Now this comes with a very fast 700mhz processor, and this paticular mother board can be upgraded to a smokin 1.5ghz, so there is not buying a new computer. Now it only has 64mb of PC133, but it is PC-133 ram is it is equivlant to about 196 100mhz, but anyday you want more ram just but and stick it in it can upgrade to One gig of ram. The hard drive is at the bare minium that I would reccomend and the speed is perfect, some retailers only offer 5400 speed but 7200 is perfect. 40x cd rom is a normal thing, I would ask them to upgrade it to a DVD or a CDRW. Sound Blaster speakers, are also a very good sytem sound. Now you have the choice of ether fiber or phone line connection here. So if you are in a big metropolitan area I would suggest the Ethernet card. Plus with this great inexpenisve system comes a monitor, a 17".
