Paper Handling:
Pros:quiet, shows amount of ink left, easy to set up & use
Cons:ink refills cost more than Canon, but last lots longer
When our Canon printer stopped working, I fully intended to replace it with another of the same brand. Except for its "untimely death", everything else about it had been just fine.
I came home with a Lexmark Z32 Color Jet instead.
I like its size and style. I like how quietly it prints. The print quality and speed work just fine for making occasional copies of emails, printing off pictures, or setting up monthly calendars.
At first the idea of the ink cartridges being so much more expensive than I was used to seemed a negative. But they are more expensive because they are so much larger, and last a lot longer than what I used before.
Another feature I like is the chart that appears each time I print, showing me exactly how much ink I have left so I'll know when it's time to buy more.
Oh, yeah, and this is the printer that talks ... telling me when it's starting to print, or out of paper, or that it's finished printing.
I'm very satisfied with the Lexmark Z32 and recommend it highly.
