Desktop Dollars is another pay to surf company. They have changed from their original format, which was to pay fifty cents an hour for forty hours, to unlimited hours at only eleven to twenty three cents an hour.
Their pay rate is described as forty five percent of the advertising dollars to you, fifteen percent to your direct referrals, and from one to five percent for your indirect referrals. A good thing about Desktop Dollars is that you do not have to be on to be paid for your referrals. For example, you could surf 100 hours for the month, but one of your referrals surfs for 150 hours. Some programs will only pay for 100 of your referrals hours, but Desktop Dollars pays for all 150 hours.
The bar, called the Profitzone, pays you for whenever you are connected to the internet. One thing that you must do is click on a continue button every twenty to thirty minutes. Other than that, the bar can be left alone. They have been very consistent with counting the time accumulated so this is definitely another plus. This bar is one of the better behaving bars. By this, I mean that the bar does not crash your computer. Several other bars have completely crashed my computers.
Their customer service is not very good though. I have sent multiple emails to them, but I have not received one reply. They sent an email to members that since their enormous growth, they have had to hire more customer service representatives. Maybe it has gotten better since my last email, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a return email.
Their payment system is different from other paid to surf programs in that you can either get paid by a check or a debit card that they give you. The debit card is not out yet, so they will only pay by check right now. You can select a minimum payment amount that ranges from twenty to five hundred dollars. One con about Desktop Dollars is that it will take quite awhile to get paid from them. According to their website, they will send out check almost two months after the month you reach your minimum payout amount.
They have a new program out right now called Desktop Internet Control(DIC Radio). It's like Radiofreecash where you listen to music. They're not paying on that right now, but they are giving away $5000 in gift certificates to some lucky members who use it.
Giving this paid to surf company a rating, I would have to give it four stars because of the recent decline of both Mvalue and Alladvantage. The only thing holding this one down is the low payrate.
