I have been using Thumbs Plus for a loing time and, even though, I've tied other programs that supposedly do the same kinds of tasks that this program does, no other program does all of the various jobs that Thumbs Plus does, in fact they don't come close.

It's fast, easy to use and you can get a FREE trial program that doesn't die after a set period. However, it does have an annoying start up screen if you keep on using the program. But the good part is that you can get a feel for the program before putting out hard cash.

If you are into Web design, it even allows you to place web type graphics on your site. Change sizes, types of graphics, change graphics so that hey look better, crop, sharpen, blur, re-size- just about anything you would want to do with your graphics- in many formats. It even allows you to make gif files transparent, compress jpeg files and...well, the oly thing it dosen't do is draw. A wonderful addition to the graphics user.

It is great for sending jpeg files with Email since you can change sizes so that the upload is much easier. Also, allows the viewer topresent slide shows of any and all graphics in file.
