I took my 3d blaster ultra tnt2 for this baby. My version was not the DDR. First off, on my system at the time I was one of the little that had problems. Mine constantly crashed. GPFs, freezing games, really bad when using GLIDE, drivers were updated. I never did figure out the problem.
HOWEVER, in my other system(athlon 600 mhz w/ soyo board). It worked fine, so it was an ok card. Now, to the bone. I was not that impressed. For you that are absolute speed freaks, get it. BUT, it is not that much better than the ultra 3d blaster. Card does get very hot, but remains stable. Framerate is not that much better than the ultra.
I did not even bother trying to get anything out of Creative for the other computer for, THERE SUPPORT HAS BECAME HORRIBLE in the last few years. SO, over all. Unless you really JUST GOT TO HAVE THIS! Wait, for something better or prices to drop.
