This won't work as well as they promise, but you can probably expect a check. By that I don't mean that they won't pay what they promise; I'm very sure that they will. They obviously have a ton of capital and resources to pay off all of their members. However, you probably won't make much with this.
I'll explain again why a "pyramid scheme" doesn't work, which is what this is. Imandi abuses the pyramid scheme more than most programs. They pay $5 for direct referrals, $0.25, $0.50 and $1 for indirect referrals respective to their referral level. Therefore, if you refer 3 people, and each of those people refer 3 people, and it keeps on going, you'll make hundreds and hundreds of dollars.
YOU WON'T! Imandi is a 100% referral-based program. If you refer 3 people, great (even though it will be a lot harder than referring people to, say, AllAdvantage). However, chances of you getting 9 indirect referrals TOTAL is very, very slim. Chances of you getting ANY $1 indirect referrals is very small. Imandi knows this; that's why they offer more for the indirect referrals further from you: You probably won't get any.
However, you do get $5 for each direct referral, but this has to be spent through their "network of e-businesses" unless you make a ton (which is very unlikely). That's great; refer 4 friends who are into referral programs and you get a free $20. Why not? It's not a great or even good program by any means, but if you have some friends who'll sign up under you, fantastic.
Note however that to get the referral bonus these people have to active a code postal mailed to them. That gets rid of about a quarter of your referrals!
