Napster is the new mp3 distributor that is incredibly popular with many college students everywhere and its free. It basically just gives you the capability to listen to any song you've ever wanted too. It provides being able to listen to a song from an album that would never pay $15.00 for. The download time is varied. Sometimes I have fallen asleep waiting for a song to be completed and sometimes I've been to the bathroom and when I get back it's half completed.
I use Napster regulary to download new popular songs. I'm very happy with Napster. I have over one hundred songs and a few friends from the chat rooms that it provides. I mean what more can you ask for. You get to chat with many different people while you listen to your favorite songs.
Lars Allrick from Metallica is one of the biggest protesters of this service because he thinks its taken away from people buying his cd's. Come one Lars give me a break. I don't know one person that would go and waste money on an old metallica cd. This service just ables them to listen to a good song without wasting their money on some washed up out of toon stuck up rock band member.
Napster is the wave of the future and I hope they keep fighting the courts that are trying to shut Napster down. Finding your song is also really is as long as you know either the artist or the name of the song. While downloading is does not keep you from being able to do other things. For someone looking for the best mp3 downloader I would definately have to say Napster. It's easy, usually fast, has many chatrooms, and it enables you to keep track of who you downloaded songs the fasted from and it shows you all the songs they have.
It's a big sharing network that is connecting people with all of their favorite songs. To wrap things up Napster is the mp3 service of choice for me and many others and again I say what more could you ask for from Napster. I also belive if we keep this kind of technology around who knows, in three years you could download a song in three minutes flat and I can only imagine the other capabilities.
