Pros: easy over clocking for the hardcores. Intel chipset more stable for my components then VIA.
Cons: Max 512 megs ram. May be unreliable.

| dntrmvl's Full Review: Asus CUSL2 |
I bought this board because of reviews that were pouring in about the new intel chipset(815e). I previously had an asus cuv4x motherboard mated with a VIA 694x chipset. Setting up was a breeze. Overclocking is as simple as can be. This board supports udma/100 as well as udma/66 and also 33. Agp4x is also supported. My current set up is PIII 733mhz with 128megs pc133 sdram. Tdk velocd 12x 10x 32x cd-rw. Kenwood true 72x cd-rom. For my video card Im running a creative annihilator2 mated with the ever so popular nvidia geforce2gts. So far I have no incompatibility will all my components while using this board. I did have a problem with my cuv4x trying to run my kenwood drive. Most likely it was a reaction with the VIA chipset. I do recommend buying a board from a reliable mb maker such as asus. Comes will all the cable needed as well as a detailed manual of how to set up your bios. I do want to mention that asus also has an update feature that you can use to update your bios thru windows. I for one am running windows me so it would be hard for me to go to dos to configure my bios because window me doesn't allow you to got to dos thru windows. Microsoft is slowly doing away with dos. But be warned! This chipset is still fairly new. As with all new products, there still may be bugs that the consumer hasn't come across yet. THIS IS AN UPDATE! After only 2 days of use,my board for no reason shut down. Tried to reboot but with no success. Seems as though something has burned out. The asus board wasn't being overclocked. I did the process of elimination of using my other board,CUV4X with the same components and guess what! It ran fine. Another reviewer had the same problem with his board dying. What's up with this. Asus has the rep of being a very reliable company. Being that I lost all unsaved info, Im going to drop my overall rating to a 2. Didn't give any warning of any problem arising. Just completely shut down. That sucks! People beware! Like I said before;new harware that are just brought out, always has problems. It may have all the features and stuff, but sometimes tried and true boards are better.
