I work from my home, and absolutely MUST have high speed internet access. I researched alternatives to cable (i.e. DSL), so I could use my existing phone-lines with no additional wiring, but found service was not available until next year. I currently have Cable broadband access. I looked at several different routers before choosing the LinkSys unit. I found the Linksys Router/Hub to be the easiest to configure, and understanding their documentation was key for me. I am not a network guru, so I needed something I could configure, with very little techno-jargon knowledge. Within 30 minutes of opening the box, I had established access for both my computers. I have recommended this unit to several friends who have purchased it, and given the unit the same glowing reviews as myself. This is a must for non-technical people who have a need for multiple internet connections, with only one internet service needed.
