I decided to purchase an Abit BF6 because
I was on a tight budget and I wanted to to build a system that could be very upgradable. I was attracted to the very overclockable and inexpensive Celeron Processor line.
Surfing around the Overclocking Sites I noticed the Abit motherboards mentioned many times for thier stableness and price. I found the Abit BF6 was the motherboard for me so I picked one up for about $100 and purchased a Celeron 400 for peanuts.
The board installed easily, the manual is good. The software is ok. The softmenu III is great. The whole BIOS is awsome! The BF6 overclocks very well and very easily. The only complaint I have is that I had to machine down my super tall heatsink because of the short distance between CPU slot and the Simm slots.
If you want a quality, inexpensive, full featured motherboard at a good price and ability to run Celeron 300s-700s to the Faster PII and PIII processors then I highly recommend the Abit BF6.
