good for it's price range

The Pavillion 4000 series has a good amount of disk space and is pretty fast, for less that $600. I own a 4445, and it had 4.3 gigs of space, 64 megs of ram, and a celeron 400 processor. I am a big fan of the Celeron, which is cheap and almost as fast as a pentium. Because it does not have a big software bundle (Win 98 and MS Works) and has no monitor, it is better for buyers who previously owned a computer, rather than 1st time buyers. I would suggest it for Second time buyers who are short on cash but need a competitive computer.
