ICQ is a great program for chatting with many other features. I have been using ICQ for about 2 years and each update has made it better and better. It is basically a program where you type a message and send it. You can also, however, send files and many other things to each other. It is very convenient to use.

ICQ includes a chat room feature in which you can talk to many of your friends at the same time. Recently they added more features to the chat. For example, you can now create an emotions icon where you can show if you are frustrated or happy or being sarcastic. This makes many of the mistakes that people usually make in interpretation less occurent. It also includes a searchable database of users so that you can find your friends.

Also, you can make an away message so that people can leave messages if you suddenly have to go. The best thing about this program is that you can send offline messages so that the next time the person signs on they will read your message. This is better than email!

The only problem I have had with this program is the difficulty in signing on. However, this has not been an issue recently.
