Wow! One word, and it doesn’t even do my feelings justice about this Fantastic program.
I just received CompuPic and I put it through its paces. Read below to see exactly what this program can do for you.
What is it?
CompuPic Pro is the ultimate digital image management tool. At first glance, I thought this was just a ThumbsPlus clone, but it far outscores that basic image tool. CompuPic is a digital artist or collectors dream and a novice’s answer to prayers. CompuPic Pro does virtually everything you need a program to do with images. Catalog, search, modify, publish, and so much more. Read the feature list below to find out more.
Interface:
Almost Exactly like ThumbsPlus, except with a myriad of more features. The interface is clean, not clumsy and creates thumbnails on the fly. Searching and organizing images is a breeze and all the controls and tools are within an easy click. No complicated learning curve to get you to what you need.

Benefits:
This is the best image tool I have ever had the pleasure of using. In just one hour I have totally abandoned all but Photoshop for my imaging. I will no longer have to tediously search and organize my images by hand.
The biggest benefit is the ease of use of all the features. This is one for newbies as well as professionals
Strengths:
Image and File viewing. Instantly see all images and files in thumbnails. Documents too! Cool Features like; email a greeting card (with any image on your computer!) Automatic generation of a web page with thumbnails. And a slew of other goodies.
There are too many strengths to list. I urge you to test the trial version on the website.
Weaknesses:
Slow to load and with tedious and annoying animated eye icons. (These are cute for all of 10 seconds) Although overall, the program tended to be a bit slower than most image viewers/catalogers, CompuPic Pro more than makes up for that in sheer features and ease of use.
Bottom Line:
I am going to be using this program for a very long time. New users will LOVE the email greeting card and files features, as well as some of the other HTML goodies. Experienced and pro users will love the search, organization and manipulation tools. This program is a bit pricey, but it definatley worth every penny. There is a trial available on the website www.compupic.com (4 meg download) Check it out and see for yourself, this program beats all competition hands down.
