As a former Gateway owner, I can attest to the fact that this is an excellent company who makes outstanding products and offers unparalleled support.
With the Gateway PC, you get a reliable computer, complete with all of the standard equipment and most any bell or whistle you could want, at an extremely affordable price. Their standard units these days somehow manage to keep up with the rapidly changing and evolving level of computing power available. In addition, they offer unique trade-in programs that allow customers to upgrade to the latest model periodically. This is vitally important considering how quickly models become obsolete.
Perhaps the most important positive factor with the Gateway PC is their service. Since they added new service facilities and hundreds of new techs a few years ago, the level of tech support has become a real industry leader. They even often offer support on software packages that have nothing to do with their hardware, simply as a support for their customers.
I would highly recommend Gateway computers to anyone interested in a PC purchase. They are excellent machines and a great support company.
